-draft at number 2: Brandon Ingram
-draft at number 32: Thon Maker

-trade 1: Brandon Ingram, Jordan Clarkson in a sign and trade to Milwaukee for Giannas A. (Greek Freak)
[] Bucks forwards: Jabari Parker (PF) and Khris Middleton (SF-SG) . The Bucks are 24 in offensive efficiency. I think this is a win-win for both teams because the Lakers get a proven version of Ben Simmons who they want but can't have and the Bucks receive (Jason Kidd will love Clarkson) point/ combo in Clarkson and consistent offense in Ingram. Monroe-Parker-Ingram-Middleton-Clarkson is better than their current starting lineup []

-trade 2: Julius Randle, Nick Young to Boston for Avery Bradley
[] Think defense in the west. Think of its importance. Think Westbrook, Chris Paul, Steph Curry. These are the top point guards in the league in one conference. Russell isn't a poor defender but think about the versatility Bradley will bring and how good switching on defense will be. A legit 3&D guy is worth a lot in the west and Russell-Bradley backcourt will basically be a better version on Conley-Allen because of more offense provided. []

-signee 1: Kevin Durant for 2 years, 48 million
-signee 2: Al Horford for 4 years, 75 million [] I think the Noel-Teague deal being discussed shows Atlanta's uncertainty of keeping Horford. Horford will be a quality west big man. He can space the floor so when Lakers go up against small lineups, they do not need to make changes.
-signee 3: Chase Budinger 1 year, 3.2 million

-re-signees: Marcelo Huertas, Brandon Bass, Robert Sacre

PG: D'Angelo Russell/ Marcelo Huertas
SG: Avery Bradley/ Lou Williams
SF: Kevin Durant/ Anthony Brown/ Chase Budinger
PF: Giannas A. / Larry Nance Jr/ Thon Maker
C: Al Horford/ Brandon Bass/ Robert Sacre

-This is a top 5 team in the west. Durant gets his own team, he gets better interior scoring and defense, he gets two pass/ playmakers in Russell and Giannas. He also gets a better sixth man in Lou Williams.

-This team is better than Russell/ Clarkson/ Ingram/ Randle/ Whiteside. It's more mature, it's more playmaking, it's more versatile. You don't have to take out anyone for small ball lineups and you don't have to worry abou "hack-a-? ". It's a better defensive team as well because Bradley, Horford, Giannis alone whereas Whiteside would be the main defensive anchor but in late game situations you can't keep him on the floor. Expecting 200 pound Ingram to guard the Rudy Gays, Leonards, Parsons, Lebrons, of the league is ridiculous so I didn't include him in that defensive expectation.

-I know it's far fetched but I'm thinking outside the box. I don't see the Lakers keeping all these young players. That's something they don't do/ aren't known to do. They trade picks and players to get better, I don't see any difference this year.

This is a new era. Lakers have to rebuild in order to become better. I see the Lakers keeping onto all the young core. Making those trades you mentioned just to get booted out in the first round is unacceptable. Give this team a chance to grow. Yes if Horford or Durant want to sign then sign them but the rebuilding process still needs to move forward.
