High volume scorers in college like Hield don't always translate to star players in the NBA. Yes he will be a good prospect but its tough to say if he will be a star especially right away. Labissiere is a back up center. Doesn't matter anyway. Hield isn't dropping to 7th, Labissiere won't slip past the Bulls at 14th and Valentine will go higher than 19th. If the Lakers were to trade with Phoenix at 4th & 13th then Hield and Labissiere might be available but it comes down to fit.

I wouldn't do the trade. Clarkson and Randle combine fits the team better than Butler especially if you have the Lakers signing DeRozan and drafting Simmons.
