Doesn't make sense. Lakers would give up a shooting guard for a shooting guard. The Jazz would trade their starting shooting guard for someone who they will use as their 3rd point guard along with trey Burke and exum

So I read Miami called about okafor but couldn't get a deal done how about making a 3 team trade
Lakers - Whiteside,
76ers - Clarkson, Winslow
Heat - Okafor,
I think every team benefits
Lakers get there center and a core of Russell, Randle and Whiteside with the potential for 1 or 2 max players and maybe a top 3 pick.
Heat give up Winslow but get a nice return if Whiteside were to bolt in FA.
76ers get a starting backcourt because Free agents don't want to sign there.

Whiteside is an unrestricted free agent this summer so it wouldn't make sense to trade Clarkson for a guy we can just sign outright or risk losing for nothing. Clarkson is a restricted free agent so they could sign him to an offer sheet this summer. Don't see them trading Okafor for a free agent.
