Lakers trade Lou Williams
Celtics trade Turner, Rozier, Mavericks 2016 first round pick
I don't know what is wrong with Lakers HC Byron Scott but he should be playing Rusell and Clarkson as many minutes together as possible as the backcourt of the future. Moving Williams opens up more playing time for those two players. And adding Rozier (nice scoring combo guard for the bench) and the Mavericks first round pick add more youth to the rebuilding project.
Celtics have a million picks and a million young players glued to the bench not playing. While Rozier has upside long time Williams will give the Celtics the quick hit scoring punch they lack coming off the bench now with Thomas in the starting lineup. It's a good value buy for the Celtics as Williams is in year 1 of a 3yr/ $21M deal.

John Wall would be a better option for the Lakers. We think big or nothing at all.

Williams isn't worth that much tho. That pick could be top 22

Suns - Lakers
Suns trade Dragic
Lakers trade Nash, Rockets 2015 first round pick
So why do the Lakers make a trade for Dragic when they can sign him as a free agent this summer? Two reasons.
1) having his bird rights allows them to offer more money than a team signing him as a pure free agent.
2) by having his bird rights, the Lakers can use the cap space they will have to sign another max player, fill out their bench, and then using Dragic's bird rights, resign him to his max offer.
Now the Lakers won't give up the Rockets pick without a verbal promise from Dragic that he will resign long term but if they get that promise, trading the late first round pick to have Dragic's bird rights is a wise move to make.
1.) Not the first round : (
2.) Dragic is not worth a max contract. If Lakers offer that and he accepts it will be a huge mistake. The Lakers are better off offering Knight, Jackson or inquiring about MCW they would be cheaper and more effective.

Rockets - Nuggets - Knicks - Lakers
Rockets trade Shved, Papanikolaou, Terry, Jones, Pelicans 2015 first round pick, own 2017 first round pick, Knicks 2015 and 2016 second round picks.
Rockets get Lawson, Smitth, Ellington
Nuggets trade Lawson, Gee
Nuggets get Calderon, Papanikolaou, Jones, Pelicans 2015 first round pick (from Rockets) Rockets 2017 first round pick, Knicks 2016 second round pick (from Rockets), Cavs 2019 second round pick (from Knicks)
Knicks trade Calderon, Smith, Cavs 2019 second round pick
Knicks get Terry, Price, Johnson (all waived)
Lakers trade Ellington, Price, Johnson
Lakers get Shved, Gee, Knicks 2015 second round pick (from Rockets)
Rockets give up the farm to add a third star player to their team to make a run at the title this year.
Nuggets get two young prospects and four draft picks to help rebuild their team.
Knicks rid themselves of Calderon's contract to allow them to sign two max players this summer.

Raptors - Nuggets - Lakers
Raptors trade Fields, Hayes, Nogueira, 2015 first round pick, Knicks 2016 first round pick
Raptors get Chandler, Afflalo, Faried
Nuggets trade Chandler, Affalo, Faried
Nuggets get Nash, Fields, Hansbrough, Raptors 2015 first round pick, Knicks 2016 first round pick, Lakers 2019 second round pick
Lakers trade Nash, 2019 second round pick
Lakers get Nogueria
Raptors depth and defense has struggled of late. Getting Faried, Afflalo, and Chandler will provide energy and defense to a team that is struggling. The trade also makes the team 12 quality players deep.
Lowery/Vasquez/Williams
DeRozan/Afflalo
Ross/Chandler
Faried/Johnson/Patterson
Valanciunas/Hayes
Nuggets are blowing things up and by swapping out three players for all expiring contracts and two first round picks is a solid return for a rebuilding team.
Lakers swap out Nash expiring deal and way down the road second round pick for the former first round prospect who can't get any PT. Right now the Lakers have nothing better to do then lose games and giving PT to developing players like Clarkson and now Nogueria.

Lakers - Clippers
Lakers trade Johnson, Davis
Clippers trade Udoh, 2019 and 2020 second round picks
Lakers swap out two players who are free agents for a pair of future second round picks.
Clippers send out two future second round picks to provide their bench more energy and defense.
1.) I wouldn't trade with the Clippers. The league/media thought they could turn the Clippers into the Lakers overnight meanwhile ignoring everything Dr. Buss has done for the league. Now that it hasn't turned out like they expected it's nice to see the league and media sweat.
