In the off-season the Lakers may potentially have interest in Greg Monroe. So here is a S&T
Lakers Receive- Monroe
Pistons Receive- Randle and Ryan Kelly
Why the Lakers do it?
Randle is know sure thing after his injury and they have been rumored to have liked Monroe for years.
Why the Pistons do it?
If Randle can stay healthy he would be a great fit with Drummond. And if the Pistons say draft Stanley Johnson they would have a really nice future line-up of
PG- Jennings/Jackson
SG- KCP
SF- Johnson
PF- Randle
C- Drummond
1.) So lakers are giving up a young player for someone they could potentially get through FA?
2.) I agree with Lakerwaker but I see the logic behind donnybasketball's choice. Monroe and Randle cannot play together because both of them are poor defensively. However, if you get Monroe you can team him up with Ed Davis and bring Randle off the bench
