Trade Julius Randle, Jabari Brown, and Tarik Black for Orlando's pick of Justise Winslow
Trade Jordan Clarkson, Hou 1st, LAL 2nd, R. Kelly for
Nerlens Noel
Draft D'Angelo Russell
Sign Kevin Love MAX
D'Angelo Russell
Kobe Bryant
Justise Winslow
Kevin Love
Nerlens Noel
1.) Why would justise be worth randle black and a pick he's not lebron he's a role player
2.) Because Randle is unproven. It is to sweeten the deal to guarantee the trade goes through. Had I not thrown in those other guys along with Randle, some other clown would have criticized the post saying that just Randle isn't enough.
3.) Yes Winslow is a role player and he would be playing a certain role on that team as a defensive stopper and may very well develop into an offensive force also like Kawhi. There must be a balance of offense and defense on the team which is why Nerlens and Justise are necessary while KLove and Russell would be offensive focal points. Not to mention, this team is attractive for someone like Durant to join and not miss a beat where he doesn't have to share the ball but also doesn't have to do everything himself.
4.) I don't think the sixers will trade Noel as he is already a strong defender and will only get better. However, I do agree with your notion of Randle just something about the injury I didn't like and he definitely needs to be in better shape. On the hand, blake griffin suffered a similar injury and has become a star.

-Draft D'Angelo Russell
-Trade Jordan Clarkson, Houston's 1st, LAL's 2nd, Jabari Brown, Ryan Kelly for Nerlens Noel
-Sign Tobias Harris for MAX
-Do NOT pick up Jordan Hill's team option
-Resign Ed Davis for $8-9 million
-Get rid of Nick Young in any sort of way that doesn't take back salary
D'Angelo Russell
Kobe Bryant
Tobias Harris
Julius Randle
Nerlens Noel
1.) May I say dumb! Nerlens Noel is not worth more than Clarkson, and certainly not with added picks.
Draft a defensive minded center with the top five pick. Kepp Clarkson, Randle, Black, Brown and get back Davis.
Get one well cosen max player later in the summer.
2.) Horibble starting line up

In the hypothetical situation that the Lakers get 1st or 2nd pick.
-Draft Okafor first (Towns if 2nd)
-Trade Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson, and Tarik Black
to Orlando or Minnesota (who need PF)
for
Emmanuel Mudiay (if ORL or MIN is drafting at 3/4 spot)
-with Houston's pick, draft Caris Levert or Justin Anderson (attach Jordan Hill to Hou pick to trade for higher pick swap)
-trade Nick Young to Miami for 2nd round pick
-trade LAL 2nd, LAC 2nd, and Miami 2nd to swap up into late first for Kris Dunn
-sign Kevin Love for $18 million
-sign Jimmy Butler for max
-resign Ed Davis MLE
-resign Wayne Ellington for vet salary
Okafor/Davis
Love/Kelly
Butler/Anderson
Kobe/Ellington
Mudiay/Dunn
1.) Okafor and love would combine to give up the most points in NBA history. I don't want a team that scores 110 and gives up 130

Before trade deadline
3-team trade
OKC gets Jordan Hill, Wayne Ellington LAL 2nd rd pick
LAL gets Harrison Barnes, Kendrick Perkins
GSW gets Houston's first, Jeremy Lamb
Continue losing to retain top five pick
draft Karl Anthony Towns 5th $3 million
sign Brandon Knight $13 million
sign Kevin Love $17 million
LAL 2015-2016 roster
Brandon Knight/Jordan Clarkson
Kobe Bryant/Wayne Ellington
Harrison Barnes/Nick Young
Kevin Love/Julius Randle
Ed Davis/Karl Towns
1.) Better scenario is bet all in to obtain Anthony Davis.
2.) Good trade for Barnes, and I liked the draft option and Brandon Knight Signing. But I really don't see Love signing Lakers. And we already have a potencial Star no PF (Randle).
3.) Certainly so. Who believes the Pelicans would take anything for him though?
1st pick, Julius Randle, and Houston's (25th) pick probably aren't enough for him unfortunately.
4.) Lol You can't Get A. D he's There L B J Or Kobe OR K. D No1 Trades 21 Year Old Superstars N when He Enters FA He'll Be A Rfa Only Way he Goes To Lakers IS If He Force pelicans To Trade Him To LA
27 Jan 2015 02:33:13
-Continue losing in order to retain top 5 pick
-Win NBA draft lottery
-Sign Brandon Knight $12 mil
-Sign Tobias Harris $12 mil
-Resign Ed Davis MLE
-Trade Houston's 1st (23-25 range) and LAL 2nd for Avery Bradley $7 mil
draft Jahlil Okafor $4.7 mil
Brandon Knight/Jordan Clarkson
Kobe Bryant/Avery Bradley
Tobias Harris/Nick Young
Julius Randle/Tarik Black
Jahlil Okafor/Ed Davis
1.) Avery bradley trade killed it
2.) I tend to be a bigger admirer of Avery Bradley than others. This of course can be adjusted so as to retrieve another player at the same position worth around $7mil

The Lakers will not have $31.4 million in salary cap and would have to move a lot of incumbent salaries to get that much cap space.
Also, Draymond Green is going to cost more than $12 million not to mention the Warriors management has been explicit in the fact that they will match offers. Furhtermore, Green has been playing PF for the Warriors as opposed to SF as suggested in the post.
Whoever disagrees that the Lakers can't afford both Kevin Love and Draymond Green, please enumerate how this could be so? I'll wait.
This is not possible. The Lakers will only be able to afford one max free agent and then another guy with the bit of the salary cap that is left, ranging from $7-$10 million.
You do at least come to the correct conclusions that Love and Rondo are only going to be expensively attainable if they have early playoff exits.
I also agree and I think a lot of others do as well that Nick Young needs to be rid of in one way or another.
Nobody should ever be recommending that the Lakers sign Andre Bynum again, however.
Lakers can't afford both Love and Draymond Green
