Solid team, Youth and Vets. Team can score a lot of points and play some good defense, the D leaugers will basically be developing them and having them as injury replacements.

We are already developing Randle, Clarkson and Nance Jr. so I am unsure why you want to trade for Embiid who has been injuried the last 2 seasons. That would be a gamble and a step back from the goal of winning. Hibbert if he were to resign would want Randle on the team. Why would he share minutes with Embiid? Way too much money for Derozan. I do agree to bring Derozan in but at a cheaper price.

It's more about getting their pick, and I also believe Clarkson and Randle do not play good defense at all, and I do believe that a guy like Derozen could go that high when the cap is raised. Derozen might be willing to take a discount because he's from the So Cal area like Mayo is too.

Sixers wouldn't do that. With so much heat the Sixers have been getting trading there first round pick would be the last thing they would do. Randle is a good rebounder and keep in mind he is a rookie. So he and Clarkson need to develop into better defenders than what they are now.

Both show signs in a bunch of games. Others not so much but over time that will change. As far as Derozan yes the cap and salaries are going up but giving Derozan that kind of money will leave less room for others. I say 4 years $88 million would be the amount he would sign for with the Lakers.

Trading the young core lakers has been been developing for 1st pick and embid I wouldn't do. simmons would be a nice pick however lakers still got a chance to get the 1st pick themselves the way they been playing. if they get 1st pick for simmons and just sign durant or derozan (not for 140) then they will be solid again. Hibbert is ranked 6th in blocking. been doing a great job at pretecting the rims like what lakers been wanting so I wouldn't mind him back. plus he cans shoot freethrows.
