Neither team would do it. It's highly unlikely that the lakers will trade the 2nd pick for anyone unless it's the pick straight up for a top 15 player. I don't think the FO is dumb enough to gut the team for a 26 year old, doesn't put us in a better position if we can't put a solid team around the star.
