Russell's the pg of the future. We are most likley signing derozen to be are sg of the future and present. Why not get are centre and a good player at #9 if This trade happened. Jv on the raps is young and a good centre with lots of potential to get even better. Derozen is also familiar with him. So

I know that Ingram who will most likley be the 2nd pick is insanely good but with all the cap space we have we could get derozen and another top tier young talent.

This isn't a good move. Lakers need to make the selection or Ingram or Simmons. Even with cap space they will have enough to sign 2 max players. Also the Sixer own the Lakers pending pick in 2017 not the Raptors.

Ok, I understand that. I wouldn't trade Ingram/Simmons for a bunch of picks and an overpaid center. Lakers could just make the selection. Get the talent a 17 win team needs and then just sign a center outright. They could even sign Biyombo a player DeRozan knows. I would only trade that #2 pick for 2 players. Demarcus Cousins or Paul George.
