Realistic targets 2 Options.
1) No trades. This team wins 35ish games next year.

Next center would be Ezeli or Mahinmi

Bench (obviously would have to resign some of those guys)

2) Trade option. Potentially 45 on up
S&T Clarkson, Ingram, future 1st for Butler or George. Or Ingram and future 2nd for Gordon Hayward who is a FA next year.

As for the trades, there is no point in trading a rookie with the potential of Ingram/ Simmons for a 1-2 year rental. Much rather the rookie on 5mil for the next 4 yesrs

Lee not a joke the market is going to be crazy. Do I think he's worth that no, will he get somewhere near that yes. It's not about your perceived value it's what the salary cap and the market dictates.
The reason for the trade is a quicker rebuild. No FA wants to play with s tram of 21 yrar olds. Sure the salary of a rookie is better but you are trading a guy that's completely unproven to a proven player with bird rights.

ZRLight you will see Courtney Lee getting somewhere around $6M to $7M a year. He isn't getting $12M a year. I also think Biyombo might get around $10M a year. No way at $15M a year. Yes the salary cap is going up but that doesn't mean the Lakers have to be foolish a waste cap space on paying $12M+ on back up players.

There has to be a contigency plan if GS matches. Also Clarkson would have to be part of the trade with Butler as a S&T. And they have to sign a center Biyombo 4/60 or Whiteside 4/84. They would have the cap space still for another max in 2017
